BUFT-Archroma agreement
Mr. Syed Mohammad Ismail, the Country Head of Archroma Bangladesh (Ltd.), visited BUFT on June 21, 2023, and met with BUFT Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. S. M. Mahfuzur Rahman and Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan. They had a fruitful discussion session in a cordial environment.
The meeting provided an opportunity for discussion on various areas of collaboration. The parties explored avenues such as internships, training programs, scholarships, and sponsorship of research projects. The objectives are to equip BUFT students with practical exposure and expertise, enabling them to drive innovation and transformation within the RMG and textile industries. The collaboration aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of BUFT graduates and foster sustainable growth in the RMG and textile sectors.
Seminar on "The Science Behind Lubricating Oils & Its Engineering Applications"
MJL Bangladesh PLC, in collaboration with the BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT), organized a seminar titled "The Science Behind Lubricating Oils & Its Engineering Applications" on June 20, 2023. The event took place at the BUFT Multipurpose Hall and aimed to provide valuable insights into the world of lubricating oils and their relevance in engineering applications, automobile and textile industries.
The seminar welcomed a distinguished gathering of attendees, including the Pro Vice Chancellor of BUFT, Prof. Dr. Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan, who delivered the innaugural address. The event was also graced by the presence of special guest Mr. Mukul Hossain, CEO of MJL Bangladesh PLC and Mr. Shahin Alam, Senior General Manager of MJL Bangladesh PLC, who served as the keynote speaker.
Mr. Shahin Alam highlighted the engineering applications of lubricating oils, showcasing their significance in reducing friction, preventing wear and tear, and ensuring smooth operation of machinery. He also discussed the latest advancements in lubricating oil technology and their implications for various industries. BUFT Treasurer, Deans, Heads of academic and administrative units, officers and large number of students were present at the seminar.
BUFT and the University of Borås sign an MoU
It is honor for BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology, to be a part of the history of having a MOU signed with the University of Bors, Sweden.
Now we have more floor and space to grow and expand our horizons!
