BUFT Holds Dua and Milad Mahfil Marking the First Death Anniversary of Abdullah Hil Rakib
BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) organized a Dua and Milad Mahfil on 9 June 2026 to commemorate the first death anniversary of Mr. Abdullah Hil Rakib, Managing Director of Team Group and a distinguished Member of the Board of Trustees of BUFT. The prayer gathering was held after Zuhr prayer at the Central Mosque of BUFT, bringing together faculty members, officers, staff, and students of the university to pay their respects and remember his invaluable contributions to the institution and the country's apparel sector.
During the program, special prayers were offered seeking forgiveness, mercy, and eternal peace for the departed soul. The participants prayed to Almighty Allah to grant Mr. Rakib the highest place in Jannah and to bestow patience, strength, and comfort upon his bereaved family members. The event reflected the deep respect and admiration held by the BUFT community for Mr. Abdullah Hil Rakib and his enduring legacy in the fields of education, entrepreneurship, and industry leadership.
