Shakinaz Mahamud is a dedicated lecturer in Fashion
Design Technology with over 12 years of academic experience and 5 years of industry
experience as a merchandiser and designer in the ready-made garments sector.
She brings a well-rounded approach to teaching that merges creative exploration
with practical industry insights, preparing students to meet the demands of the
global fashion industry.
Her teaching specialties include Sewing & Garments Technology, Pattern Making, and Computer-Aided Design (CAD). She holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Fashion Design Technology from the BGMEA Institute of Fashion & Technology, along with an MBA in Product and Fashion Merchandising and an M.A. in Fashion Design—both from Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology.
