About
Ms. Sabrina Shahrin Swarna is a Lecturer at the Department of Textile Engineering & Management
(TEM), BUFT. Prior to joining BUFT Ms. Swarna has completed her B.Sc. in Textile Engineering
(Textile Engineering Management) degree from Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX) in 2017.
She also completed Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from Asian University of Bangladesh in 2018. At
present, she is working on her thesis for M.Sc. in Textile Engineering (Management) at Bangladesh
University of Textiles (BUTEX).
Ms. Swarna has been an active member of the department in conducting various courses (Textile Studies
and Textile Management) of undergraduate program and departmental tasks since her joining at BUFT in
2018. She was a member of Step+ project and HEST project. She has also worked as a member of the
Self-Assessment committee of TEM, member secretary of ICTAF-2020. Currently she is acting as the
member secretary of the OBE committee of TEM. Her primary research interests include Kaizen, Garments
washing and Employee Motivation and Safety and Fiber reinforced composites.
