BUFT Signs MoU with the SIMON FOUNDATION, IMAS Frontier Bangladesh and B & K Inc.
BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The SIMON FOUNDATION, IMAS Frontier Bangladesh Ltd. and B & K Inc. on 3 November 2026, at the university’s Board Conference Room. The agreement seeks to promote institutional collaboration through academic exchange, joint research, knowledge sharing and mutual development. The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan, Vice-Chancellor of BUFT, on behalf of the university; Mr. Javier Chercoles, representing The SIMON FOUNDATION; and Dr. Tadashi Ohtake, Managing Director, alongside Mr. Kamrul Hasan Sohel, Director, representing the partner organizations.
The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Md. Alamgir Hossain, Acting Pro-Vice Chancellor of BUFT, along with the university’s Registrar, Deans of all faculties, Director of Public Relations, and other senior officials. The program began with a welcome address by the Vice-Chancellor, followed by speeches from representatives of the participating organizations and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees. The formal signing of the agreement was followed by a group photography session.
