Who we are looking for: NTL is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR & Admin Executive to support day-to-day HR operations, administrative functions, and labour law compliance across the factories. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in HRM practices within a manufacturing/RMG environment and a sound working knowledge of Bangladesh Labour Law.
About the job:
Human Resource Management
Support end-to-end recruitment: sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding for staff and workers
Maintain and update employee records, personal files, and HRIS/ERP database entries
Assist with attendance, leave management, and daily-basis worker tracking across departments
Coordinate performance evaluation processes and probation/confirmation tracking
Support payroll inputs including attendance, overtime, and leave data for accurate salary processing
Handle employee grievances, disciplinary processes, and termination/resignation formalities in line with company policy and labour law
Assist in training & development initiatives, including compliance and skills training sessions
Administration
Oversee general administrative operations including office supplies, vendor coordination, and facility upkeep
Maintain liaison with local government offices, labour offices, and relevant authorities for licenses, renewals, and statutory filings
Support visitor management, transport/logistics coordination, and housekeeping/security oversight
Maintain and update SOPs, notices, and administrative documentation
Compliance & Labour Law
Ensure HR and administrative practices comply with Bangladesh Labour Act
Support internal and buyer compliance audits (BSCI, SMETA/Sedex, GOTS, OEKO-TEX, RSC/ACCORD)
Maintain statutory registers, files, and documentation required for labour inspections and audits
Monitor workplace safety, welfare facilities, and grievance mechanisms in coordination with the Compliance team
About you:
Education
BBA or Bachelor's degree in HRM, Business Administration, or a related field (required)
MBA, preferably with a major in HRM, is strongly preferred
Experience
Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in HR & Admin, preferably within the RMG/textile/garment manufacturing sector
Skills & Knowledge
Extensive working knowledge of Bangladesh Labour Law and Labour Rules
Strong understanding of HRM practices: recruitment, payroll support, performance management, employee relations
Familiarity with buyer compliance standards (BSCI, Sedex/SMETA, GOTS, OEKO-TEX, ACCORD/RSC) is an advantage
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word); experience with ERP/HRIS systems preferred
Strong communication skills in Bangla and English
High attention to detail, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive employee information
Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams
