Rag Day celebrated of 151 batches at BUFT

A day long Rag Day celebration program of the students of 151 batch of the BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) was held on March 06, 2019. On the occasion, the students of 151 batches brought out a colorful procession from the premises of the University Campus at Nishatnagar, Turag, Dhaka, says a press release.
Marking the end of their academic life, the students of 151 batches arranged this Rag Day programme. The students also enjoyed a colored water splashing, cultural program and fashion shows on the campus. Students of 151 batches from different departments performed songs, dances and fashion show on BUFT open stage. The day formally began with the distribution of colourful t-shirts among the students. It was a day of thrill and great fiesta to everyone especially for the outgoing students.
Mr. Muzaffar U. Siddique, Honorable Founder Chairman of Trust Board of the University inaugurated the Rag Day event. In his speech Mr. Siddiqui said that the students of the university 151 batches will establish themselves in their respective career and retain the goodwill of the university. “I believe the students of BUFT have already achieved their reputation in legal arena,” he added. At that time, Acting Vice Chancellor of the University Professor Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan gave instruction to the students to guide their golden future. Among others, Registrar Md. Shahjahan; Director of Student Welfare A.N. M Rafiqul Alam; Deans, Heads of the Departments, Teachers, Officers, Students and Staff of BUFT were present and enjoyed the event.
