Shahriar Parvin is an Assistant Professor of English at the department of English in BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh. She is an experienced English language educator with over a decade of teaching at institutions like Viqarunnisa Noon School and college, Starlit School of English, as well as Santo Mariam University of Creative Technology in Dhaka. At present, she serves as the Head of the Department of English at BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Specializing in English Language Teaching (ELT) and literature she is dedicated to strengthening student learning through engaging and innovative teaching methodologies. She has completed her graduation in English Literature and post-graduation in Applied Linguistics & ELT from the Dhaka University. Her total teaching experience is 18 years. She is interested in doing research in the area of English language and literature. Her published articles includes “The Implementation of Communicative Language Teaching (Clt) Method for Improving Speaking Skill in Bangladeshi Language Classroom at Secondary and Higher Secondary Level.” “A Review of The Fundamentals of Corporate Social Responsibility,” and “Teaching Grammar at the Tertiary Level in the Context of Bangladesh”. Currently, her research explores the areas of curriculum design, perception of online education, importance of business English in apparel industry, the impact of teachers’ behavior on students in classroom environment.
