Syed Tahmid Jamil is a lecturer at BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT), specializing in industrial engineering. He teaches courses on supply chain management, simulation, and material handling and management, while also contributing to the implementation of outcome-based education (OBE) principles through the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). Additionally, He serves on the Offering Committee, where he plays a key role in distributing and managing faculty workloads. With a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Production Engineering from the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), Syed Tahmid Jamil brings a strong foundation in engineering concepts to his teaching. His research interests include supervised machine learning models, time series data analytics, machining model optimization of CNC routing machines, ergonomics, and simulation. He holds multiple certifications in Project management, Psychology, and software skills, including SAP, Prompt Engineering and Tableau.
