About

Shimul Das holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Textile Engineering with a specialization in Wet Processing from BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT), where he graduated as the First Class First in his batch with an outstanding academic record. He is currently pursuing an MSc. in Wet Process Engineering at same university,  further strengthening his expertise in advanced textile processing and sustainable textile technologies.
Currently, Mr. Das is dedicated to advancing his expertise as an educator, inspiring and guiding future professionals in the field of Textile Engineering. Alongside teaching, he is actively engaged in research focusing on Textile Dye Synthesis, Colour Chemistry, Toxicity evaluation, sustainable dye development, and the valorization of waste materials for innovative textile applications. His research aims to develop environmentally responsible and safer alternatives for the textile sector while exploring the chemistry, performance, and sustainability of novel compounds.
His unwavering motivation, dedication to academic excellence, and passion for sustainable textile development define his professional journey. Through his combined commitment to teaching, research, and sustainable textile innovation, Mr. Das continues to contribute to the advancement of textile engineering and environmental responsibility.
