About

Rad Mosharrof Mim is a dedicated educator and researcher currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Sciences at BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT), Dhaka, Bangladesh. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Khulna University (KU), Khulna and a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Dhaka. He creates a dynamic learning environment by incorporating both theoretical knowledge and experimental techniques, enabling students to apply their learning in practical contexts. His research lies at the intersection of electrochemistry, renewable energy technologies, and environmental chemistry. He is also worked on determining the electrical and physical properties of Shape-controlled metal oxide based materials, Metal-organic framework based materials, Sensors for heavy metal detection, Capacitive Desalination of water, Photovoltaic nature for Solar cell materials and the efficiency of Electro-catalytic reduction of CO2 gas. He intends to commit his entire life to the exciting realm of chemistry.

 Performance test:
  • The photovoltaic nature of Solar cell Materials using solar simulator (HO-SC-SS300C).
  • Electro-catalytic reduction of Greenhouse CO2 gas using electrochemical analyzer (CHI-660D) and Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometer (GC-FID).

  • Adsorption test for Pb (II) ions using a hybrid metal oxide-based composite, employing Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy ((AA-7000) and an Electrochemical Analyzer (MedPstat 1.0)

  • Sensor application for Heavy metal Detection using electrochemical analyzer (Med-Pstat 1.0).
