About

Meheraz Zannat currently holds the position of Assistant Professor in Statistics under the Department of Sciences at the BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT). At the beginning of her career, she started at Daffodil International University as a Lecturer (part-time). Afterwards, at Primeasia University, also as a Lecturer. 

Meheraz Zannat graduated (M.S.) in Statistics from Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. From the same university, she completed her B.Sc. (Hons.) degree. She completed her M.S. thesis on the field of demography, where she used Bangladesh Demographic and Health Survey (BDHS) data and applied the statistical methods to reach the findings with the help of IBM SPSS software.

She is capable of sharing her views with others in a logical way. That's why she is experiencing different fields of research, such as education planning, consumer behavior etc., with her knowledge. Till now she has been enjoying her work as a mentor and researcher.
