About

Motahara Sabah Mredula is an accomplished academic and researcher, currently serving as a Lecturer in the Computer Science and Engineering department at BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT). She holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT) from Institute of Information Technology (IIT), Jahangirnagar University (JU).

A notable achievement in her academic career is receiving the prestigious ICT Fellowship from the ICT Division for her research work during the fiscal year 2020-21. This recognition highlights her innovative research and commitment to excellence. In addition, she has completed training in Mobile Application Development from BITM. She is recognized for her strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively, and proactive approach to both teaching and research.

Her research interests encompass Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Data Science. She has made significant contributions to several publications, focusing on event detection through social media analysis, particularly in the Bengali and Banglish languages.
