About
Mohammad Hossain is a Lecturer in the Textile Engineering Department at BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology, a position he began in 2023. In 2021, he began his textile career with SM Knitwear Limited before moving on to NRG Composite Ltd. Mohammad earned a B.Sc. in Textile Engineering (Fabric) from the Bangladesh University of Textiles.
Teaching/Research Specialization
Mohammad Hossain is a committed researcher who specializes in yarn and fabric manufacturing. With his academic background and industrial expertise, he specializes on biodegradable composites, smart textiles, recycling, and sustainability. His work strives to solve both industrial and environmental challenges. In addition to his research, Mohammad has individually supervised several undergraduate students' project work. He is dedicated to multidisciplinary collaboration and has authored several peer-reviewed publications in prestigious journals.
