Mostaria
Amin Mitu is a dedicated lecturer in the Department of Fashion Studies at BGMEA
University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT), Bangladesh. With a rich academic
background and diverse professional experience, she brings a wealth of
knowledge and creativity to her role.
Mostaria
completed her M.Sc. in Fashion Marketing from Zhejiang Sci-Tech University in
Hangzhou, China, where she was honored with the prestigious Chinese Government
Scholarship. Her academic journey began with a B.Sc. in Fashion Design &
Technology from BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology.
Mostaria
joined BUFT in October 2024 and has quickly become an integral part of the
faculty. Before this, she spent nearly a year as a lecturer at Tagore
University of Creative Arts. Her professional journey includes over three years
as a 3D designer and product developer in the fashion industry, with experience
in both Bangladesh and China. This practical background has given her valuable
insights and advanced skills, especially in using CLO 3D software for garment
fit and development.
Mostaria's
talent and innovation were recognized on an international stage when she was
selected for the Youth International Designer Exhibition in 2015, organized by
the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology. She was among 30 designers chosen
from 50 countries, showcasing her zero-waste design concepts.
Her
research interests lie primarily in Fashion Marketing, where she continues to
explore new trends and methodologies. Mostaria's commitment to sustainability
and innovative design makes her a standout figure in the fashion education
community.
