Assistant Professor, BUFT

Mr. Ashraf Mehbub started his professional career in the teaching profession at higher educational level early in his career. He has been serving as a full time faculty member in the Department of Sciences at BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh since April 2014. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor. Before joining BGMEA University, he served more than one years at Presidency University, Bangladesh, holding teaching and administrative positions.

Mr. Mehbub is currently doing his PhD in energy material from Department of Physics at Jahangirnagar University. He obtained his B. Sc. (Hons.) and M. S. (Thesis) degree in Physics from the same institute.His thesis was on design and development of Instant Power Supply (IPS). He completed his SSC from Uttara High School and HSC from Notre Dame College.

Mr. Ashraf has been working as an academic person for more than 12 years at the university level. Alongside teaching, he carried out vital administrative responsibilities as an assistant Proctor several period of times. He is intensely fascinated in developing an integrated research-teaching career.

Mr. Mehbub deems that his experiences and competences will help him to perform more efficiently in any dynamic and modern academic environment.
