MD. Almamun Hossen currently embraces the position of lecturer, Department of social science at BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT), Dhaka, Bangladesh. He completed his BA and MA in the Department of Bengali, The University of Dhaka. He rewarded most prestigious gold medal for securing first class first in the fifty-three Convocation of Dhaka University from the Department of Bengali. More than thirty Bangladeshi newspapers (Like The prothom Alo,The Ittefaq, Samakal, The Janakantha, The Kaler kantha,The Bangladesh Pratidin), were printed and published his poems, short stories in several times. 

His interested areas in Bangla literatures are Classical Bangla Poetry (Medieval Period), Rabindranath Tagore's Influence, Modern Bangla Poetry (Post-Tagore Era), Folk Traditions and Poetry, Themes of Love and Romance, Experimental and Avant-Garde Poetry, Feminist Poetry in Bangla, Metaphysical Poetry. 

"As a co-author, he has contributed to the creation of four published books, showcasing his collaborative skills and intellectual depth across various subjects/genres."
