About
Md. Abdul Alim currently holds the position of Assistant Professor in Mathematics under the Department of Sciences at the BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT). He worked as a Head of the Department from May 21, 2018 to July 31, 2022. He also worked as an Academic Program Coordinator of the Department of Sciences from June 14, 2017 to May 20, 2018.
Mr. Md. Abdul Alim received his B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.S.(Thesis) degrees in Mathematics from Jahanginagar University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. At present, he is pursuing his Ph.D. degree in Inventory Management (Operations Research) at Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
He completed his M.S. thesis on the field of Fuzzy Mathematics, which was supervised by Dr. Abeda Sultana, Professor, Department of Mathematics, Jagangirnagar University.
Md. Abdul Alim has twelve years of experience in the field of teaching, education planning and research. Before joining at BUFT he was the full time faculty member in IUBAT-International University of Business Agriculture and Technology for one year.
He published five (05) articles in the field of Fuzzy Mathematics.
