About

Engr. Faruk Ahmed an Assistant Professor of  the Department of Industrial Engineering at BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT). He holds his bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering(ME) from BUET and Executive MBA from IBA, DU. He obtained M.Engg in Advanced Engineering Management(AEM), IPE, BUET. He alos finised  a 6-month post graduate Certification  on Apparel Production Management  from BIFT. Prior to joining BUFT, he worked as Production Officer in OPEX group and as an Industrial Engineer in ELITE Garment Industry. He is also involved in social works and leadership development program. He is also the founder advisor of  BUFT debate Club(BDC). He played a key role in as consultant at Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD RMG Study 2016). Additionally, Faruk Ahmed had participated two successful training session on Resource Efficient Management of Chemicals [REMC] that was organized by HEST (GIZ), BUFT & AUST. He also worked as facilitator on "Basic Training on Resource Efficient Management of Chemicals [REMC] for Industrial mid-level management in Bangladesh . At present, he is pursuing his PhD. at Bangladesh University of Professional(BUP) on Integrating 4IR tools in the Production system of Bangladesh Apparel Industry.
