Avijit Saha Asru is a graduate student of Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE) at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). He was born and raised in Dhaka, Bangladesh, where he completed his secondary school education at Ideal School and College, Dhaka. He completed his secondary school certificate (SSC) in 2015 and his higher secondary certificate (HSC) from Dhaka College in 2017. He completed his graduation in May 2023 from the department of Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE) at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).

Currently, Avijit is working as a lecturer at the BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT). His research interests lie in the fields of data science, machine learning, sequential learning, operations research, and stochastic network optimization. He is passionate about exploring new concepts and techniques in these fields and applying them to solve real-world problems.

Throughout his academic career, Avijit has been an active participant in various extracurricular activities, including volunteering for community service initiatives and working on social welfare projects. He is also an avid film enthusiast and was the president of the BUET Film Society.

Upon completion of his postgraduate studies, Avijit will acquire higher degrees at the top universities in the world, pursue his career in academia, and continue his research in the field of Industrial Engineering, where he can apply his knowledge and skills to make a positive impact on society.
