About
Since 2023, Md. Atiqur Rahman has been teaching in the Textile Engineering Department at BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology. In 2022, he began his textile career with DBL Group. Later, he joined Masco Group as a Junior Executive in the Knit Dyeing Department. Mr. Atiqur was awarded a B.S. degree in Textile Engineering, specifically in Wet Process Engineering, from the Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX)

Mr. Atiqur is a dedicated academic and researcher specializing in sustainability, environmental aspects, and the chemical processing of polymers. His expertise lies in developing eco-friendly polymer processing methods, minimizing environmental impact, and advancing sustainable materials for industrial applications.
His research focuses on biodegradable polymer composites, eco-efficient chemical treatments, and renewable alternatives to conventional processes. By integrating green chemistry principles, he aims to reduce hazardous waste and enhance sustainability in polymer industries. Additionally, he conducts lifecycle assessments to ensure environmental viability.
Beyond research, Mr. Atiqur mentors students and collaborates with academic and industry partners to implement sustainable technologies. His contributions, recognized through publications and conferences, are shaping the future of sustainable polymer processing and preparing the next generation of engineers and scientists.
