About
Md. Ahsan Habib graduated from BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) with a B.Sc. in industrial engineering, where he was honored as a Dean's Awardee for his outstanding academic performance. Following the completion of his undergraduate studies, he began his academic career as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at BUFT. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he actively participates in the Offering Committee, helping with course planning and faculty workload management.
Md. Ahsan gained strong technical skills and practical knowledge during his undergraduate studies at BUFT, including proficiency in industry-standard software tools such as SOLIDWORKS, MATLAB, and AutoCAD. He also worked on several innovative projects, such as a Line Following and Bluetooth-Controlled Robot with Obstacle Detection, a Portable Power Source, and a Grass Cutter.
Md. Ahsan is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Applied Statistics and Data Science at Jahangirnagar University, where he will expand his knowledge of data-driven decision-making. He is proficient in programming languages such as C, Python, and R, and his research interests focus on data-driven optimization, specifically operations research, predictive analytics, and manufacturing. Md. Ahsan is passionate about innovation and is working to connect academic learning to real-world industrial challenges, addressing complex problems in both technical and operational contexts.
