BUFT Signed MoU with Chengdu Textile College (CTC), China
To promote and strengthen collaboration in the field of Apparel & Textile education for both parties, BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT), Bangladesh signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Chengdu Textile College (CTC), China on July 08, 2018 at the BUFT Permanent Campus, Nishatnagar, Turag, Dhaka.
This academic cooperation includes development of academic programs, professional and cultural exchange of students, exchange of faculty and research staff, curriculum development, credit transfer facilities for students, organization of joint fashion exhibition, exchange of knowledge, and scholarships for BUFT students.
The MOU was signed by BUFT Founder Chairman of the Board of Trustees Mr. Muzaffar U. Siddique, who put his name to the documents alongside Mr. Li Jian, Vice President of CTC, China. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nizamuddin Ahmed, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan, Registrar Md. Shahjahan, Dean of FTE Dr. Engr. Abu Bakr Siddique and faculty members of BUFT, delegates of China Ms. Zhang Xiaoqian, Director of International Exchange and cooperation, Mr. Song Yalu, Dean of Textile Engineering Department, Ms. He Yijie, Assistant of International Exchange and cooperation and other delegates from China were present during signing.
