BUFT Board Chairman Assures Full Support to IQAC for Quality Education, BAC Accreditation, and Research
The Hon’ble Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT) at BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT), Mr. Md. Mesbha Uddin Ali, has reaffirmed his full support to the university's Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) to advance educational standards, research, and accreditation readiness.
The commitment was made during a high-level meeting at the Chairman's office on Wednesday, attended by IQAC Director Prof. Dr. Abdul Goffar Khan, Additional Director Dr. Mohammod Aminuzzaman, and BUFT Registrar Mr. Md. Rafiquzzaman.
During the discussion, Prof. Dr. Khan outlined IQAC’s ongoing initiatives focused on continuous quality improvement, professional development workshops for faculty and staff, and research expansion tailored to the textile and apparel sectors. He also briefed the Chairman on BUFT’s progress toward Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC) accreditation.
In response, Chairman Md. Mesbha Uddin Ali praised IQAC’s initiatives and assured complete institutional cooperation to strengthen research output and academic excellence.
The meeting concluded with Prof. Dr. Khan formally presenting the BAC Accreditation Manual and the Research Profile Handbook 2025 to the BoT Chairman, marking a firm step forward in BUFT’s pursuit of sustainable academic growth.
