BUFT Students Claim Top Honours at Textile Fest 1.0 Bangladesh 2026
Three students from BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) have achieved notable success at Textile Fest 1.0 Bangladesh 2026, organised by the NITER Textile Club, winning champion and second runner-up titles in the Fashion Show and Creative Exhibition segments.
K. M. Mynul Hasan, a student of the Department of Fashion Studies (Batch 231), secured the champion title in the Fashion Show Segment, showcasing his creativity, innovative design concepts and fashion presentation skills.
In the Creative Exhibition Segment, Faria Sultana Sharna and Rukaiya Binte Aziz, students of the Department of Fashion Design & Technology (FDT), Batch 232, won the champion and second runner-up titles, respectively. Both students presented designs developed as part of their Collection course, demonstrating their creative ideas and fashion design expertise.
These achievements highlight the students’ talent, dedication and innovative approach to fashion, while reflecting BUFT’s commitment to practical learning, creativity and excellence in fashion education.
