BUFT Student’s Team Wins DDP 2026 BD Case Competition

A team featuring Md. Atikur Rahman, a student of the Department of Apparel Manufacturing & Technology (AMT) under the Faculty of Apparel Studies (FAS) at BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT), has won the DataDevelop Prize (DDP) 2026 BD Case Competition.

Organized by the Academy of Garments Technology Bangladesh in collaboration with industry and academic partners, the competition was held on 9 October at North South University (NSU). It challenged participants to develop technology-driven solutions to real-world apparel industry issues, including artificial intelligence, digital product passports, supply chain management, sustainability, waste reduction and workplace safety. The winning team has earned the opportunity to represent Bangladesh at the international DataDevelop Prize competition in Hong Kong on 7 November 2026.
