BUFT IQAC Team's Visit to the Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC)
Date: 7 January (Wednesday), 2025 The IQAC members of BUFT met the Professor Dr. S. M. Kabir, Full Time Member of BAC and Professor Nasir Uddin Ahammed, Director (Accreditation) and discussed the current status of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) implementation at BUFT, reviewing its integration across departments and the progress achieved so far. Participants evaluated the adequacy of faculty training programs and emphasized the need for enhanced support and professional development to ensure effective OBE adoption. Key challenges related to curriculum design, teaching methodologies, and resource allocation were identified, and potential solutions were explored. The meeting concluded with discussions on future strategies for strengthening and scaling OBE implementation, incorporating recommendations from BAC personnel to align BUFT’s practices with evolving academic trends.
